Our Team

Brett

President

I started with the company in 1992 as a field electrician and was promoted to Project Manager in 1996. I earned the role of Vice President in 2003 before taking over company operations in 2006.
I am an avid hockey player and outdoorsman.

Jennifer

Controller

I am a determined and detail-oriented controller who always finishes what I start. If I don't know something, I’ll find the answer. Give me a challenge and I'll dive right in. I love cruises around the Caribbean.

Dan

Executive Vice President

I oversee the electrical design and installation for custom homes of every size. As an Aviation Electronics Technician for eight years in the Navy, I gained invaluable technical skills and discipline. In 1996 I started my electrical apprenticeship and got married, and went on to earn my Master Electrician license in 2002. I have three daughters and seven grand-children, and enjoy exploring national parks as well as tinkering with the latest in home automation.

Sue

Office Manager

I joined J. Simon and Sons in 2016 after managing an ice skating rink for many years. It is a very rewarding company with great people and a challenging role, and you won't find a more loyal or generous boss than Brett. I am a huge Red Wings and Tiger's fan.

Christian

Master Electrician

I started my apprenticeship in 2011 and knew soon after that I wanted to become a Master Electrician. While I contribute to our projects across the board my day-to-day focus is on multi-family and commercial buildings. My boys keep me on my toes and I am fishing whenever I can.

Jeremy

Senior Vice President

My apprenticeship with J. Simon and Sons started in 2001 and since then I have worked my way up the ranks to become our Senior Vice President. I am passionate about delivering high quality on-time and empowering our team to exceed our clients' expectations. I have three fantastic kids and enjoy drag racing and hands-on home improvement.
